At Elite Eyecare, we strive to provide our patients with an outstanding clinical experience in the most cost-effective manner.

We are an in-network provider for many of the most popular insurance plans. Remember, the cost of an eye exam is often covered through basic medical insurance (less co-pays and deductibles) if the exam is being conducted for an appropriate medical reason. This includes but is not limited to examinations for diabetes, flashes and floaters, eye emergencies, conjunctivitis (ie:”pink eye”), as well as for patients taking systemic drugs that may have ocular side effects like plaquenil or systemic steroids.

Medical insurance may also cover follow up examinations for eye diseases like cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. We are an in-network provider for the following medical insurance companies:

Aetna (Commercial and Medicare plans)

Amerihealth (Commercial only)

Anthem Blue Cross

Blue Cross/Blue Shield

Blue Journey

Capital Blue Cross

Cigna (most plans)

Freedom Blue

Geisinger (Commercial and Gold)

Highmark Blue Shield

Humana (most plans)

Independence Blue Cross/Personal Choice

Keystone Health Plan East

United Healthcare (Commercial and Medicare-most plans)

UPMC (Commercial only)

Many employers also offer routine vision coverage for their employees.

These benefits are only used for routine check ups and to assist in paying for the purchase of eyeglasses and/or contact lenses. We are in-network provider for the following routine eyecare plans:

If your vision plan is not listed, we are still able to provide you with the eyecare you deserve and will gladly assist you in filing an out of network claim.
